The Warehouse Manager is the primary liaison between the Distribution Center Manager and the Warehouse Associates. Ensures the efficient operations of the warehouse to meet department and corporate goals.


You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with a Warehouse Management System, along with demonstrated record of success and understanding of RF handheld devices must also possess working knowledge of navigation of inventory screens/logs, order/shipping screens/logs, picking screens/logs, merge and sorter functionality and troubleshooting. Above average computer skills required, including but not limited to the Microsoft Navision and Office Professional Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook) along with better than average business writing skills.


  • Adheres to all state and national safety regulations and guidelines.

  • Works with Drivers/Driver Manager daily to determine priorities and guidelines.

  • Assists in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

  • Releases orders in Navision for samples, SPU’s and employee sales periodically throughout the day.  Selects product and stages product in sample cage area.

  • Prepares orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements.

  • Checks inventory to verify availability of needed stock.

  • Works with Inventory Control Manager regarding shortages.

  • Prepares and packages orders within packaging guidelines.

  • Monitors materials and supplies; orders supplies as needed.

  • Installs racking as needed.

  • Receives and unloads incoming product.

  • Verifies order accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.

  • Sorts, Counts, labels and packs/unpacks inventory that is shipped/received.

  • Inspects shipments for damages, loss, or defects; shares information with Inventory Control Manager.

  • Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting and distributing inventory in the warehouse.

  • Operates dolly, pallet jack, order picker, and forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment.

  • Completes inventory cycle counts of all products.

  • Responsible for accurately slotting product.

  • Accurately records and processes driver’s returns of product.

  • Stocks returned product into warehouse locations.

  • Trains and develops receiving distribution center associates to include certification on power equipment.

  • Participates in Safety Committee.

  • Communicates with shipping companies regarding inventory deliveries.

  • Assist Driver/Logistics Manager as required.

  • Experience in inventory control and RF scanning system


Some College - Associates Preferred

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Navision and Office Professional Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Additional Skills:

Ability to operate manual and power pallet jacks, industrial baler, and dock plates

Demonstrate effective communication skills

Physical Requirements- ability to bend, twist, climb ladders, lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Microsoft Navision and excel experience preferred
