Class B Delivery Driver
Under the guidance and direction of the Delivery Manager, The driver’s primary role is the safe and timely delivery of Noble Wines product to the end user.
Perform pre-trip, safety inspections on vehicle prior to commencing the route.
Drive established route to deliver wine, beer, cider, and spirits beverages to customers.
Must be willing to stock product after delivery to the customer’s shelves.
Must be willing to load your delivery vehicle.
Comply with company safety standards, DOT regulations, Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.
Keep truck organized, clean and smoke free.
Ensure correct delivery of product.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Work cohesively with all departments and employees.
Exemplary attendance and punctuality is required.
The physical, fast-paced position requires continual lifting, lowering and sliding cases of product which weigh 35 – 45 lbs. and occasionally kegs that may weigh up to 165 lbs.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Manual pallet jack, Electric pallet jack (when duly certified), Magliner hand truck
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
Must have a clean driving record (3yr. driver’s abstract required at interview).
Prior delivery experience (Beverage experience preferred).
Ability perform basic math.
Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend the English language to perform essential job duties.
Provide high level of customer service to ensure accounts are satisfied with product and timeliness of deliveries.
Must have a good attitude and strong work ethic.
$14 - $16 per hour DOE
