Objectives:

Under the guidance and direction of the Area Supervisor, the Distribution Center associate may be assigned to move product to Distribution Center stock locations, replenish pick slots, fulfill outbound customer orders, or any associated tasks.

Responsibilities:

Assist in operations by pulling cases and bottle orders.

Picking – pull and prepare items for shipment and/or perform all picking duties in a timely and efficient manner as directed.

Responsible for developing a work ethic that allows the employee to accurately select/pick bottles following the direction of a pick sheet.

Perform all duties in a safe manner.

Equipment handling – Load, unload, move, stack, store and stage products using a push cart, hand truck, pallet jack.

Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and product.

Attendance/Overtime – Required.

Perform any and all other warehouse functions when requested by management.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional Skills:

Forklift Operating experience

Push cart, hand truck, pallet jack.

Basic ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend the English language to perform essential job duties.

Ability to repetitively push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

The ability to stand, kneel, walk, bend, squat, twist, carry, and lift overhead 50 lbs. repetitively during the work shift.

Work history of manual labor, warehouse work or merchandising experience.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

One-two years of warehouse experience in a distribution environment.

Familiar with warehouse management systems for tracking case volume and product placement within warehouse facilities.

Shipping/receiving and general warehouse and packaging skills.

Forklift operating experience with certification is a plus.

 

 

Salary Range:

$14.00 per hour DOE
